Gaming @ Lakewood

Lakewood is the lucky winner of a gaming cart where people of all ages will be able to play on the gaming cart at anytime of the day. Customers will be able to checkout equipment for an hour at a time. Here are some of the circulation rules for the gaming cart:

  1. Equipment may only be checked out for the cardholder, their parent, or siblings.
  2. The account must be in good standing following the same circulation rules as other materials.
  3. All equipment is checked out for a two hour maximum but the location may set an hour maximum for actual play.
  4. Fines will not be charged for equipment but replacement costs will be assessed if equipment is not returned.
  5. The parent/guardian responsible for the account must give permission for equipment to be checked out to friends.
  6. Equipment may only be used by the responsible parties.
  7. A wait list may be maintained for use of the equipment.
  8. During out of school hours children and teens 18 and under have exclusive use of the equipment. Parents/caregivers may play with their children.
  9. Parent/Guardian permission is needed during school hours.
  10. Customers who abandon equipment will have a note placed in their record asking them to please return gaming equipment to the desk. Repeated abandonment can lead to a ban on gaming.

Lakewood is excited to provide this service for such a great community.
